Therapy Services in Oklahoma City for Your Child with Autism
JoEllen Poindexter, M.S., CCC-SLP focuses her practice primarily on
autism spectrum disorders, social language disorders, auditory
processing disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders,
and other related communication disorders.
Kimberley
Pittman, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has particular
experience working with children and adolescents and their family’s
utilizing Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), individual therapy,
family therapy, and full psychological evaluations. Individual and
family therapy typically include evidenced based techniques such as
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as play therapy, anger management,
and social and communication skills training. Dr. Pittman has worked
with children/adolescents and their families who are currently or were
in the Child Welfare System, including foster care and adopted children;
Gay and Lesbian clients and caregivers; and Little People. Dr. Pittman
treats an array of issues, including symptoms of Pervasive Developmental
Disorders and Autism, trauma, abuse, neglect, behavioral problems,
emotional disturbances, cognitive delays, and special medical needs.
